Gene Kingery

EUGENE HERMAN KINGERY

October 6, 1933 - September 19, 2011

Gene was born in Richland County, WI in 1933. His parents, William and Goldie Kingery, raised Gene and his two brothers, Albert and Fred with character and accountability as foundations for life. He was married to Shirley Stromset, and they celebrated 52 years together, until Shirley preceeded Gene in February 2006.

He is survived by his daughters, Sherry, Cindy and Shelly, along with their families. He was a warm, loving, happy man, husband, father, grandfater and greatgrandfather. He loved to smile, laugh and enjoy life. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He followed the space program from Florida, to New York, to Texas, to California and back to Texas again, where he built his own home and settled in for the long haul. He was always active and involved. After retirement, he enjoyed the Texans football, NASCAR, and the San Jacinto Corvette Club. Gene will always be remembered and missed.
