Nedra Noakes, 65, of League City, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 19, 2011. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Gene Scharlau. Nedra is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Herbert Noakes; daughter, Kimberly Noakes; son, Cameron Noakes and wife Krista; sisters, Cathy and Lorrie; brother, Joe Scharlau; grandchildren, Quinn, Drake, Emily; plus a host of other loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be to made in Nedra’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
