John and Zekie were original members of SJCC back in 1957 through 1959. They had a 56 automatic corvette with a rare electric top. John, being a master mechanic and fast driver, later put in a 4- speed tranny and they drove that car as a daily driver until they bought a new fuel injected ’62. Both have a history of racing and all four children are (were) licensed race drivers.
