Social Gatherings

We just want to have fun!

We have fun at all of our events but some of our events have nothing to do with Corvettes but are strictly to have social activities. Events like the Annual Christmas Awards Party, the Annual Picnic, the Chili Cook-off and the Summer Backyard Bash.

Most of our social events have a theme and members take turns hosting an event but there are a couple of events that are standards and they are hosted by the same people each year. Events are coordinated by the Activities Officer and each event is approved by the Board of Directors.

Memorial Day commemorates U.S. soldiers who died while in military service. First enacted to honor Union and Confederate soldiers following the American Civil War, it was extended after World War I to honor Americans who died in all wars.

Mattingly Brothers and their company employees invite you and your family to join us for our annual pre-Memorial weekend luncheon to show appreciation for our service men and women.

The commemoration starts at 11:40 and lasts about 45 minutes.

Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, will be catered.
Kids make ice cream using a hand-crank ice cream maker.
