The vettes were quite the spectacle in Refugio, getting locals to wave them on.
Almost there!! Coming into Corpus Christi!!

Cleaning the vettes, and enjoying the evening!
The loading process started really early, it was still dark out, UGH!
The flag is presented to the captain of the U.S.S. Lexington as he is surrounded by wounded
soldiers.
Jose helps a wounded soldier's wish come true. He loves corvettes but was sure his metal legs
would damage the car. Jose assured him that he could get in and not to worry about any damage.
What an awesome, special thing for Jose to do for this young man.
The Coast Guard staged a mock rescue demonstration!
Time to unload, how long is this going to take??!!
